topped out, as seen in nuplex’s photo. wild to think that towers twice as tall will one day rise just across the turnpike from this one in the Grand-Jersey Redevelopment Plan area (e.g., Crescent Park)

This building will have amazing views. Taken from near Lincoln HS.

That’s a really unique vantage point, with downtown Brooklyn in the background! Nice!

A restaurant called “Eggs Up” is opening in the retail space. I didn’t get a good closeup but the last photo shows the space a few months ago.

Seems like such a terrible location to live, nothing next to you but a huge parking lot

The parking lot sucks and needs to go (thanks NJTransit), but half a block to the north there’s a new public library. The corner north of that will have new retail opening up on two corners. A block west of that is another corner with some nice restaurants, a grocery store, a coffee shop/bakery, and a wine/liquor shop, and a 10-minute walk away is a strip of restaurants and shops on Communipaw Ave.

I prefer other neighborhoods in JC by far, but it’s not completely desolate around there despite the parking lot

Lafayette has great restaurants, is one block way from a beautiful park and a light rail stop.
