Effective soon Chicago will have both of its airports served by the El (metro) 24 hours per day.

NYC? Both airports served by the subway zero hours per day.

Fun fact, the original 1920’s Chicago subway was built to be temporary and the intention was to redo it in the 1960’s.

Doubtful. Chicago’s first subway (State Street Subway) opened in 1943 and was intended to be permanent from the start.

Planning for the State St subway goes back to the teens, placed on hold during the depression. You don’t know everything.
