Further updates on construction on infill CTA rail station on Green Line

The city that gets things done.
An infill station on Metra (regional rail) will open next week on the North Side of Chicago.
Peterson Ridge station is between the existing Ravenswood and Rogers Park stations on the Union Pacific North line (which connects Chicago with Kenosha, Wisconsin).
All weekday trains will stop at this station, and it’s only a 22-minute ride to downtown.

Two other infill rail stations are currently under construction in Chicago.
One is Damen station on the Green Line. This is on the West Side at Damen Ave/Lake St. This station will be just north of United Center (NBA/NHL arena) and will open some time later this year:
The other is Auburn Park station on the Metra Rock Island District (Chicago-Joliet line). It will be at 79th Street east of Halsted, on the South Side:
