The Greyhound bus terminal on Filbert Street has closed.

The new set-up for Greyhound involves dropping off and picking up passengers right on Market Street near Independence Hall.

This is the stupidest thing ever and I can’t understand why it was allowed.

Seems like they could find room for a terminal around 30th St station.

What’s happening in Philadelphia will happen in other places, including Chicago.

Also, there’s a plan to reconnect the railway station to the subway station at 30th Street. Right now passengers have to exit outside and cross the surface street to connect between the two. This has been the case since the pedestrian tunnel was shut down in 1984.
