While I disagree with their dismantling and privatizing of the U.S. government, I do agree that the building is ugly and depressing.
man I love that building, used to walk by there on my lunch break
Eh… it looks cool for a minute, but then I’m done looking at it. Those jail/radiator bars over the windows in the last photo sure make for a terrible view from inside the building.
You can’t beat the location.
Ugh the Post.
What happened to Waste, Fraud and Abuse? Seems like a lot of waste just because the emperor does not like an architectural style.
A little gold leaf and I’m sure it would pass mustard (@Waymond_Womano … the malaprop is intentional)
or just throw a lot of ketchup on them. lol
Not going to lie, some of those government buildings in DC are ugly (such as the FBI and HUD buildings) and replacement (or renovation) is desperately needed. Trump wanting nicer government buildings is probably the least egregious thing that he’s demanded.
I have to agree, even a broken clock is right twice a day
The metaphor doesn’t even begin to describe the phenomenon. Every second, every minute, every hour of every day, it’s Trump O’Clock.
I’m happy to hear that so many people in this forum are rational people.
On that note, the ugliness of these buildings is one of the very few things that I agree with the orange turd on, but the ironic hypocrisy of him wanting to replace serviceable buildings while claiming to curb wasteful government spending is palpable.
