You’d think he’d be right at home with Brutalism. It is his stock and trade after all.
I’d post a Wiki link to the page about Fascism and neo classic architecture but it would be taken down as being off topic.
I assume most people here know who Albert Speer was. His style fits right in with what the orange one likes.
After all, the orange one kept a copy of Mein Kampf on his night stand in military school according to a fellow student. Probably the only book he ever attempted to read. and yes, this will probably be taken down.
Oof! That’s hideous. I assume the Blade Runner building was inspired by it.
They should tear down that POS and turn the land into a park where people can bring their pets (who won’t be tested on).
Sadly this architectural icon in Houston will be torn down.
Harris County Family Law Center

Architectural censorship.
Ugh. .
A lot of those buildings are extremely ugly and aged terribly. This is probably one of the more benign things he has done.
It’s one of the very few things about which I agree with him.
Might as well shut down the Washington Metro while they’re at it, possibly the capital’s most extensive and highly used piece of brutalist architecture / infrastructure.
Honestly, at this point the best way to ensure these federal brutalist buildings survive for another generation or two is to rename them after Confederate generals.
Most astute observation of the month.
