I’m not sure I understand. Is this development at the expense of TOD?
This development is a very rural area with no transit access while there are giant parking lots and empty lots near both of the train stations.

Probably will be a good thing to not have the city dominated by that power plant

Compared to that particular city, the suburb in question:
- Has better schools
- Has better beaches
- Has less crime
- Has three times as many train stations
Thus, there’s more demand and more construction in Fairfield.
