BOSTON | South Station Tower | 677 FT | 51 FLOORS

I don’t think this link has been posted before. It includes info on timing, and it has a nifty video showing construction plans.

Here’s a direct link to the video.

I was on Boston for a few days, first time visiting! I didn’t get a photo but they are well underway on the bus terminal expansion. It’s right above me in the photos.

I love Boston (even though they beat the Yanks).

Nearby they did a decent job incorporating a new building with some old ones. Its a shame they went with all glass. I’m so freaking bored/tired of all glass curtain walls.

There isn’t a building in that photo that is full glass

I’m talking about the south street station tower. My photo is of a different development nearby that I think did a better job integrating old/new

I was on the 21st floor a couple blocks away yesterday.

Some more from on the station platform. The ceiling above the tracks is about 20 feet high… a little higher than I had thought. So that’s good news.

Note the headless man on the left of the pano.

And here are some of the dome construction (it’s almost a pendentive).

I love this buildings incorporation into the building below it. Looks great. Same with the Brooklyn Tower
