What other skyscrapers are being built in this area? Are there any more planned?
There will be an additional 800 footer designed by SOM.
So many cranes! I wish we had so many cranes like that in nyc.
NYC actually has more, taller buildings under construction. It’s just hard to notice with so much that’s already there.
From ptimberman in the NY skyline thread. Cranes on three buildings taller than those under construction in Austin. It’s just hard to notice amongst the sea of giants.
The core has reached the level of the last setback/tier.
They must be ahead schedule, as a post on here from March 2023 shows a diagram of the project milestones. They were projected to reach the setback in September of this year
From gillynova at SSP.

It still has 400ish ft to go and it’s already one of the tallest in Austin! Once topped off, it’s gonna be truly massive for the skyline! Maybe it’ll be the catalyst for future supertalls in Austin!
This tower is what The Brooklyn Tower is for Brooklyn: the tallest and (in my opinion) the best-looking and unique skyscraper in the city.
Or an exclamation point at the end of a tremendous growth phase!
