Just wondering, is this Eugene’s final design since his passing? I know 1000M is in Chicago, by Helmut Jahn

I would need to check back with you, but no, I do not believe it was. I’m pretty sure One Vanderbilt was one of Kohn’s last major projects. Kohn was not a part of the team working on Waterline.

Edit:
No, Kohn was not apart of the team working on Waterline and One Vanderbilt was the last major project he was on a team for, though he was just on the team, he did not design it.

It would have been nice if the Wilson Tower had remained a supertall, so Austin would have had two large skyscrapers. Construction of the Wilson is scheduled to start in April 2024 according to SSP information. In the Hobby Building topic there is a very interesting infomaterial about the possible 100 floors potential.
