Just wondering, is this Eugene’s final design since his passing? I know 1000M is in Chicago, by Helmut Jahn
I would need to check back with you, but no, I do not believe it was. I’m pretty sure One Vanderbilt was one of Kohn’s last major projects. Kohn was not a part of the team working on Waterline.
Edit:
No, Kohn was not apart of the team working on Waterline and One Vanderbilt was the last major project he was on a team for, though he was just on the team, he did not design it.
Love the cladding on this one.
Great quality glass.
It would have been nice if the Wilson Tower had remained a supertall, so Austin would have had two large skyscrapers. Construction of the Wilson is scheduled to start in April 2024 according to SSP information. In the Hobby Building topic there is a very interesting infomaterial about the possible 100 floors potential.
Great Update
From Urbannizer at SSP.
It’s starting to show some size, and it’s getting glass at the office level.
And from SproutingTowers at SSP.
And finally, from Geckos_Rule.
Huge update from Urbannizer at SSP.
