1,000 feet! Very impressive-Austin is really establishing itself as a high-tier skyline, however, in the long term, it is somewhat unfortunate that all of the buildings there are getting built at the same time.

If this gets built you’ll see it from this webcam.

This building reiterates the very high standards of NY. If this were proposed for the Grand Hyatt site, 2 WTC, or as the new JPMC HQ, New Yorkers would go ballistic. In Austin, however, it’s embraced as a sign of “We’ve arrived.”

Is this really going to be 1489 feet? Is there a render?

Is there a render of 1489 feet?

No. That’s the total height the tower will stick in the air from sea level. So tower height + ground elevation. FAA needs to know this due to flight paths. Tower height alone is 1034 feet.

I see. Is there a recent render?

I can’t remember now where I read someone saying that Austin is gonna have a bigger skyline than NYC. Probably skyscraper city.

That would take a while!
