Updates on NYC-Scranton: PennDOT now taking the lead on the Corridor ID application, Tobyhanna stop cut, new corridors should be announced around May. Also:
The Mount Pocono stop would be close to the Margaritaville project announced last spring, which Cartwright said “is not dead. Basically, it’s waiting to see if this happens, and it’s looking good.”
This will make it easier for Dunder Mifflin employees to travel between HQ and their most productive regional branch.

Amtrak will close their station in Antioch, California (population 115,000) due to assaults on Amtrak staff.
“Our staffers are being assaulted,” Amtrak Police Inspector Doug Calcagno said. As a result, the train stops to open only one door to board passengers. Smith’s presentation displayed a photo of the former station’s roof where a homeless person had set up a tent as living quarters.

That’s a bunch of BS. The NFL can afford to have the draft ANYWHERE they want. Train passengers are mostly ordinary people with ordinary incomes. Even if it was someone else’s idea that they agreed to, they should think about how they’re treating people. To do this to them is a big insult.

Doing the NFL draft in a operating train station and displacing passengers is incredibly selfish and poorly planned. They could of done it anywhere but they chose an active station out of all places.
