The Philadelphia Skyline Photo Collection

Off topic question, but I was wondering if there would be any demand for a Philadelphia transportation thread and figured I would just ask here

Here’s a rendering I mocked up of some of the proposed/under construction towers in Center City:

I got the photo from this article:

It’s not really a good rendering, as it’s the first time I’ve ever tried anything like this. Also, it’s not entirely to scale some things may be in slightly the wrong space, but I just thought I would share anyway.

Google Earth added new 3D imagery of Philly! We now have some updated views of completed East Market, W Hotel, Chinatown Eastern Tower, The Harper, and the CTC. We also now have views of Penn Pavilion, the recently completed Chestnut Avenue tower, and a bunch of other towers as well, plus the huge amounts of low rise development outside of Center City and University City. I suggest you should go check it out!

Do you have any idea how I can can use the old 3D imagery? I would be interested to go into some of the surrounding neighborhoods and see the insane amount of change that has happened there recently.

I don’t think there’s an option for old 3d imagery, just old imagery

Oh, okay. Still, I don’t know how to use that, where can I find the option for that?

Not sure, I use a Google Chromebook yet stuff is limited for me…makes no sense
