Now that’s a nice shot! I like how Jersey City has more of a modern contrast of architecture compared to the island of Manhattan. Also you perfectly framed the ferry, fantastic job!

A really cool night drive is the turnpike extension, basically from bayonne up to the holland tunnel - not only do you see the lit up statue of liberty at night (super cool), but you get to take in all of the modern jersey city since you go past the downtown, journal sq and later newport by the tunnel - since the highway is elevated you really have a cool bladerunner feel to it:
once you cross into the city, if you take the west side highway around the battery and up the fdr to upper east side you of course get the cool shots of the city… anyway highly recommend to anybody who hasn’t done it, one of my top 5 best metro nyc drives for views

I’ve seen that view a few times while leaving the city at sunset. I know exactly what you mean, even seeing Lady Liberty
