Really fascinating how you can see the exact outline of Union City here showing how they’ve installed whiter LED streetlights while the surrounding towns in Jersey still have warmer streetlights.

NJ, in general, is reluctant for some reason to install LED streetlights even though they’re better and make the streets brighter and feel safer. Concerns about bright white light are invalid because there are warmer (e.g 2500K) temperature lights that bring the same brightness but with a less oppressive light colour.

They do make LED lights with an “incandescent” glow. I have them in my house.
