Port Chester is looking for a master developer. They have a few things going on including a big mixed use redevelopment of the United Hospital Complex.

Port Chester Update: The rezoning a few years ago to allow larger buildings downtown has created a building boom, there are currently seven different parcels under construction downtown, plus the United Hospital / Westchester Crossing project near I-287.

Table and map overlay is my own so feel free to let me know if I missed anything or if there are errors. Mods / those who’ve been here longer than me: I think Port Chester goes in the White Plains thread, but let me know if you want a new standalone Port Chester thread or a general Westchester County thread for projects not in Mount Vernon, Yonkers, New Rochelle or White Plains.

Also whomever did the rendering for 2 South Main that is posted on the buildings to be torn down got a bit adventurous (read the license plates on the cars…)

The earthwork for United Hospital / Westchester Crossing is really impressive - multiple 50’ to 70’+ piles of dirt, but Route 1 is too hectic to try taking pictures out the window while driving and I didn’t feel like walking all the way down from downtown. Will definitely be worth checking out once they start building buildings though.

it’s right next to one of the wealthiest places on the planet (City of Rye), which despite its immense power and influence was unable to put a stop to this:
