It started rising in 1988 but it was fully cladded by the beginning of 1990 before 2LP and Mellon Bank were topped. I think it opened in 1990 actually, but many sites state 91

I just visited the Sky High bar at the top. Holy moly! The glass elevator ride up to the top is craaaaaazy, and the view from the top is, of course, amazing. Wow. If you’re reading this, you must check this out the next time you’re in Philly. It’s well worth your time.
