Anyone know if they ever plan on fixing the skylight or are they just going to leave that ugly looking tape on it for good? 4 billion dollars to just let it stay broken? It needs a good scrubbing and repainting as well. It’s such a marvelous structure it deserves to be well maintained.

The idea of that has been tossed around for a while but I don’t see it happening anytime soon. We’ll probably have the Second Avenue Subway built before we see a PATH extension to Newark.
