the smoke monster is back. Expecting red sunset tonight.
Roads and bridges damaged in the northern suburbs from remarkable rainfall yesterday. West Point and Highland Falls hit the hardest. Metro North Hudson Line, Rt 9W/D, Rt 218 and Rt 6 remain impassable. PIP north of Exit 14 remains closed. NYS Thruway I87 is open.
I was driving back from Vermont through all of this on the Taconic…some of the scariest driving conditions I’ve had to experience to date…at one point the rain got so heavy you could only see 15’ in front that we pulled to the side.

Parts of the crane collapsed near Hudson Yards
Economic indicator?

The Skyscraper Museum for the most part has always been free, and the times that it hasnt been the tickets were always priced relatively low.
Considering KPF is probably the most prominent of the donors and member on the board of directors, I cant believe their name is spelled wrong.
Wow! Wonder what else they got wrong at the skyscraper museum.
Did you mean to post this again?
What an embarrassment for our city.
Steinbrenner must be spinning in his grave.
The 9/11 Memorial lights are on. This seemed to creep up on me, the 22nd anniversary is next week.
