Crazy how other states (Like Florida and RI) are trying to keep tri-staters out… they test next to nobody and say they don’t have a problem and blame it on us.
I wouldn’t be surprised if soon we are trying to keep folks from the rest of the country from coming into the metro area, once we have beat the virus and they are still filled with it

the NYPD has something like 30,000 officers and that figure above probably includes civilian employees, so this is a small dent, for now. Cuomo could probably bring in additional State Police Patrolmen and of course additional National Gaurdsmen if things get really dire for the NYPD.
unfortunately, the NYPD is double the size of the National Guard and troopers combined. Considering they have their work cut out for themselves around the state, I think we’re dealing with whatever we got here. There’s no chance of more than a couple thousand reinforcements.
