back to the free buses. There is free transfer between buses and the subway. I suspect most bus riders pay a subway fare at one end or the other. almost certainly on crosstown buses. Start with the crosstown buses. Entry and exit from all doors will shorten the stop times. my 2 cents worth
Would you mind keeping info about specific towers/projects in their respective threads, to keep this thread for other news? There are already specific threads for the new Madison towers.
It goes without saying that I have zero say in what goes where on this forum, but I think having info duplicated across various unrelated threads seems redundant.

How you manage to insult mods and get multiple bans on an NYC projects/construction forum is beyond me… good for you I guess.
Anyway…this year’s summer streets program has kicked off in Queens and Shaolin today, and it’s nice to see it expand once again! 22 total miles, and for the Manhattan days it extends all the way up into Inwood!

The City Council just approved the Midtown—South Mixed Use Plan. First, Atlantic Ave, and now Midtown. Next up, Jamaica Ave (just passed city planning and will head to city council) and One LIC (passed community boards/borough president and heads to city planning).

The NY Compost is not very happy that the city is eliminating parking due to reduced demand partially as a consequence of the highly successful congestion pricing prorgam.

This just shows that both city and state leaders have to get their act together and cut the red tape and speed up the building process.
Granted, I don’t care whether the state is Republican or Democrat. I would hate to lose representation for a state that’s already over 20 million people.
New York City is single handedly carrying the Northeast…..

NYC barely building more than Austin, TX which is magnitudes smaller. An unserious city, New York needs to go crazy with housing. I don’t see this situation getting better with a socialist NIMBY like Mamdani
