The curved facade is pretty good but from other angles it is just another glass box. I have mixed reactions to it.

I think that the concave facade looks great. Most LIC buildings are pretty lame. Durst could have built a lame box (like the PoS he built on 6th Ave a few years ago), but he constructed a unique tower.

Do we foresee a problem with the glass concave facade acting like a giant magnifying glass melting objects like the building in London? Was that problem in London solved?
