I’m a major enthusiast for improving our rail infrastructure, but I’m not sure if privatizing is the way to go. I realize the NEC is a profitable route so it might be feasible, but the UK tried privatizing rail in the 70s and it was a disaster.

I mean this should come as a shock to no one, the state has shown this is what they want since they released this render in 2016.
