NEW YORK | PA Bus Terminal Redevelopment and Towers| 1,346 FT & 926 FT & ? FT| FLOORS

I hope they do change as I am not a fan of the reddish color scheme for the base or the facade style choice. I fear it may get dated quickly and is quite ugly.

Other than courteous forum members going out and getting photos of the Dyer Ave Deck-over, POV videos of people driving into NY are our only other sources of updates. The satellite I used for the Portal Bridge is not usable as there is not enough detail (or contrast) to identify progress. I found a recent video from 13 days ago and construction is well under way.

Here’s a screen capture of the view directly outside the tunnel:

There is a lot of fencing and signs that work is under way. Perhaps they’ll eventually repave those roads since they are terrible.

The PABT rooftop parking lot will be closing for good following the closure of its access ramps.

I didn’t know there was parking up there.

should this be turned to under construction, or hold off until they actually work on the ramps/terminal?

They broke ground on the Dyer Avenue decking over project in May. It’s wrong to say it’s “proposed” since this is a confirmed project that is actively under construction

It’s quite hard to find information on the first project, the Dyer Ave Deckovers but through some digging, I learned that in April, actual progress and steel laying beyond foundations for the roadway caps is to commence. Right now, work is focused on building foundations that will support the actual decks.

And here’s a paywall bypass for @Waymond_Womano’s post.

Just a suggestion but when in doubt I do a cut and paste of entire articles, as opposed to links.

The last couple of days I went into the PA I saw them tearing something down. I’ll try and snap a few pics if I can next week

That is a copyright violation that could (and should) get this site we all love in trouble. While I understand — and appreciate — your good intentions, please don’t do that.
