the blank wall is unfortunate, but dang the rest is stunning.

Interesting to see how the tile, which looks like smaller individually laid pieces, is actually cast in large sections. From last month:

This is looking quite nice.

Well said: I have been looking for the right - non pretentious, non jargon - terms for the new construction buildings that go above and beyond in terms of aesthetics and simple good looks. I agree, this one is “quite nice” really - the fact is that very few new buildings rate above ‘generic’ architectural design. I have recently read a comment where a new condo was referred to as an “artistic looking” building - that term also works to make the point. Simply something special - that heavy dark glazed stone looks fantastic.

Especially the glazed stone! It creates this superb quality on the facade.

This looks better in person. The blank wall is unfortunate.

Yeah I think the treatment of the facade with the glazed brick looks cool. For some reason though the blue reminds me of Facebook and their lizard king Zuck.

Ha! It reminds me of the subway tiles.

The facade is very nice, I just wish there was more of it! Way too much exposed concrete, and the only side of the building that’s completely clad is somewhat obscured by the City Point complex.
