This cladding is stunning and high-quality. Besides the location, I’d argue this is a pretty awesome tower

maybe if its proposed neighbors get built it will be less of a soar thumb. The top is not coming across as well executed so far but I agree that the cladding is eye catching.

Yeah it’s got that 432 Park problem.

Agree to disagree, I’m not a fan of this one. It looks like it belongs in Long Island City, Toronto, or Las Vegas, not Manhattan. In fact, with the exception of SHoP’s Cherry Street tower I think the designs of all the Two Bridges towers are underwhelming. These buildings will occupy a very prominent place on the skyline, forming their own little cluster right on the river near some of the most famous bridges in the world. Such a unique location deserves better architecture than a bunch of glass boxes.

I get your point, and I would say Toronto or even Chicago would be a great place for this. However, I still think this facade is a solid level up from the generic, cheap, crap going up in Long Island city or Las Vegas, etc.

"you can watch the Staten Island Ferry going back and forth, you can watch the NY water taxi go back and forth…the empire state building…you can’t miss it - at all, like if you’re on the other side of the building it’s right there, like you can almost reach out and touch it. This building it makes me feel alive, and I feel like I am like in the lifeblood of New York City when I’m in this building because you see the cars going by on the bridge you see boats…when I’m here I get goosebumps even thinking about it! "

What a culture built on Tony Robbins seminars sounds like. Gag.

Really taking quite awhile. The base is still partly covered in scaffolding.

They really have no $ coming in from sales.

Views aside, who wants to live in this part of town?

I do. More development is inevitable, new essex market nearby, more parks coming as part of flood prevention plan. And great views of downtown, midtown, Brooklyn, LIC.

This lists 402 previous sales and 172 in contract sales in a building with 815 units that isn’t finished yet. Is this correct?

There is lively debate about the number of sales -

It looks like 115 actual recorded sales and 172 in contract.
