In all seriousness, I wonder how large a development Roosevelt Island could support. A large tower rising out of the East River like this would be absolutely iconic. Would the F train and tram be enough to support commuters to a large corporate headquarters?

A megatall on Roosevelt could be iconic, as @MarshallKnight says. I’d prefer something other than an amorphous blob of a building though.

Beautiful but not feasible. Dreaming is free but this building isn’t. What a gem.

That was my first thought too. Not sure how feasible this actually is. I’d LOVE for this to be built. I’m especially excited about the green initiatives here, but I think they’re underestimating how easy it is to keep 10,000 plants alive when they’re 2,000 feet in the air and not planted in the ground.
