looks like some of these are concepts for different variations of the design that they were considering

Different view of the arrivals hall

Gates

View of post security

Customs (probably a different variation of the design they were considering)

check-in, looks like islands/piers style checkin like current T1, t4, new lga terminal b

These look more refined than the initial renderings and I love every bit of it. T1 will be phenomenal. The tackiness was toned down and it looks really nice and inviting with all the wood finishes and plants.

Here are some more renders:

Great renders, I hope they keep that wavy feature in the arrivals pickup area. Speaking of T1, I was at Kennedy earlier and saw steel starting to rise over the Airtrain tracks. I expect we’ll see more of the superstructure go up once the current terminal’s roadway is rerouted next month.

Looks like T8 is due for more work. $125 million project to redo the concessions area. Managed to find one render–looks like quite a bit of work is planned. Found from this page: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) - URW Airports

from thursday evening, may 25. Terminal 2 is not long for this world. also looked like pilings are happening in the back far left, behind the signage in this picture.

Was sorting some files earlier when I found two renders I saved of the previous T1 plan. I got them from the website of the original architect (PGAL) just before the pandemic, which are more realistic versions of what the state published. While I’m happy with what we’re getting after seeing the latest renders, it seems we really could’ve had something much cooler, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the webpage that had these renders and around 4 more no longer exists.
