they have a better than equal shot at getting one of the licenses.

Changes are being made to the casino tower and podium. I guess it’ll become two towers??
Not quite, that portion of the meeting presentation was referring to the alternative Site C scheme in which no gaming license is awarded, this alternate plan has always existed along side the main proposal that has the single resort tower atop the podium. The alternate plan for Site C would be to build 1 residential tower along with 2 other commercial towers atop a podium in addition to the 1 residential and 1 commercial tower on the southern side of the site (Sites A & B).
The only change being presented is that a throughway is being introduced in the Alt Site C scheme to break up the podium between the residential and 2 commercial towers. There are no changes to the main scheme.
In the video they state that open space thats now split will have an open sky above. That’s why I asked…but we’ll definitely get more documents soon. Those documents are from the team currently working on the revision
But as mentioned before, those edits are to the alternative scheme for Site C, not the main one that includes the casino podium and resort.
What’s that building on the west side of block 675?
I know it’s still years off, but I hope this gets built! 3 supertalls would be an awesome addition to the skyline, and a good way to end the Hudson Yards project!
I hope the Wynn Tower gets bumped up to 1,600ft (or more). We’re starting to hit a plateau in this area and that site is a great location for a unique and iconic tower.
