YIMBY has the scoop on the fifth tower!
Brookfield Properties is listed as the owner behind the applications, and is responsible for several other mixed-use properties in Greenpoint Landing.
The proposed 336-foot-tall development will yield 287,518 square feet with an allotted 8,616 square feet for commercial space. The tower will have 302 residences; it is unclear if these will be rentals or condos. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard. This building, along with 1 Eagle Street and 15 Eagle Street will occupy a full city block, bringing a total of 750 apartments to market as well as 20,000 square feet of indoor amenity spaces.
Carlos Cardoso of Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners is responsible for the design.

not sure where this goes, or if it is a part of this scheme. haven’t seen this rendering before, actually was a bit south of ‘the greenpoint’ just above the inlet.

we have a thread at one of the West Street addresses. We should rename it Cayler Place though because it’s just a lot on the riverfront.

yup. If greenpoint wasn’t already a happening place, this would be bigger news.

It’s actually many more. Tons of others are just starting foundations along the river in Greenpoint.
