If I’m not mistaken, homeless people used to live in that tunnel in cardboard boxes. One morning a woman was pulled into a box and raped while commuters passed by unaware.
wasn’t that the pedestrian tunnel between Herald Square and Bryant Park subway stations that closed three decades ago?

Are there dedicated bike lanes to the station? Because it doesn’t matter how much you encourage or build stuff like this, if people don’t feel safe riding their bikes they won’t.

There are dedicated bike lanes all over the city.
That tiny pod does not seem like the right scale to encourage bike riding to mass transit.
