NEW YORK | Central Park Tower (217 W 57th St) | 1,550 FT | 98 FLOORS

Until now I’ve only seen the East side of the crown lit, so assuming that’s still the case, that’s 3/4 sides for sure. Maybe someone can confirm whether the North side is now lit as well?

I hope they light up the mechanical levels too like they showed in the renderings.

They most likely will but it will take time. Manhattan West suddenly lit up after over a year.

A blurry pic but the North Side as of tonight is not lit yet.

We’ve yet to see the finished lighting but at least at daytime this building looks almost precisely like the rendering. Which is rare

Not discounting the incredible engineering in this building, but the design was hardly one to come out drastically different as it was somewhat basic in form.

Seeing the elements where a spire would have gone towards the eastern facade though is the only reminder of any substantial changes.

All in all I’m ok with this not having a spire as 175 Park will claim the highest rooftop and honestly I like it when office buildings hold that title.
