The real beauty is that this and Herzod de Meuron’s nearby masterpiece replace the last remaining junky sites on West Street!
Other masterpieces rising nearby are BIG’s landmark on 17th St and Gang’s Solar Curve.

I drove by in a taxi on March 22nd. The site has been cleared and work was occurring.
This will be stunning. It’s amazing to think that this area was a dump 20 years ago and pretty seedy 5 years ago. Now, it’s lined with ultra expensive condos.
I agree, for me… you can’t really go wrong with a Stern building.
It really has bee amazing how much the area has changed. The redevelopment of the Hudson River Park has been a huge success for the area.
I’m so happy that a limestone Stern palace is replacing this garbage!

I watched the opening of the Olympics on TV and on Live! It was better than I expected!
