Walked by this evening. Cement pour for basement floor is imminent on the north triangular section. Much less progress to the south where foundation work seems to just beginning. Top photo is the north part and bottom is the south.

This facade is a beauty. I do like those black spots, they add visual interest in an artful way, but can’t tell if they are voids (missing bricks) or some black brick added to add that visual flair. This is a hand laid real deal brick facade, unlike the prefabricated veneer panel brick facades that are common in new construction, so I am not sure what is happening there exactly; but it looks great.

This is really good that half part is covered.

The city really needs to incentivize projects like this by speeding up the approval process.

There are so many awkward small plots in NY that could be developed quickly if we gave developers a reason to build at this scale / quality / contextually.
