NEW YORK | 520 5th Ave | 1,002 FT | 76 FLOORS

One of the two taller columns is still the same as the one I posted about, there is still a vertical splice on the top of it, there are no horizontal splices on the top of the columns for connection beams. There’s hasnt been any change vertically since my weekend post.

A very elegant building that will surely age well

Exactly.

I will invent a new name for this particular style of architecture: Contemporary Classicism.

Yes, the tower is now topped out, though not officially until the last beam is installed.

When the last beam is installed, hence the official . Its only unofficially topped-out.

That’s a wicked shot!!! :star_struck:  Great seeing this one topped-out! I wonder if the cladding will be wrapped up before the end of January (or maybe around the start of 2025…?) :face_with_monocle:

I almost wish there was a little bit more on the top, it looks kinda stumpy imo. but no real complaints about anything, this is an incredibly beautiful building up close and from a far!

The stumpiness should disappear when the crown is cladded.
