Southward?
Oof. Northward. Though I suppose it moves both ways.
Yep, you have to mean northward. There already are some fairly big apartment buildings between 72nd and 59th. I live in one at 42 floors. Moving north of 72nd, the present northern end of buildings over 20 floors or so will be a tough haul. Broadway and avenue rules allow buildings in that range, but not on side streets. And after the Ariel Buildings on Broadway around 100th were built, rules allowing bonuses were sharply curtailed. Major zoning changes would be required.
Just realized this will be taller than the nearby Time Warner center (not sure if that’s still the name).
@tjr101 It’s called the Deutsche Bank Center now. TW moved to 30 Hudson Yards and Deutsche Bank filled in the space they vacated, and as the main tenant, Related changed the name.
This building is going very quickly now that it has passed the transfer floors.
Millinium tower?
Don’t get the query? What are you asking about? Thanks.
Chused
I was taking a wild stab at your building.
Nope. Missed.
VIA West 57, this, and Central Park Tower will make a nice stepping effect from this perspective when complete
We must’ve just missed each other! I was mostly looking at the South face while you captured the North.
