Should this building be built now, it would be the third tallest building in the city, and the second tallest office building.
However should the rest of the proposed buildings get built, it will be number 5, 6, or possibly even 7 in the city.
And that will probably continue to go down as more get proposed, and they will.
I am currently working remotely from a beach on a Croatian island of Kolocep. You better believe I don’t want to interact in person with a “huge amount of entitled and narcissistic” coworkers who don’t have a life and would rather waste theirs in some office.
When the Musk Mars base comes to fruition, I plan on working remotely from there. There is a 14 minute delay from Earth so a MS Teams meeting should take forever. Hopefully I’m paid hourly in that case. Gives a new meaning to milking the clock.
How are they ugly? For 270 Park, we’ve waited for an official rendering for a while now, while 350 Park is still kind of early to tell if this is the final design.
Buy glasses and a piece of taste please!!
It is subjective but going on the beautoful/extremely ugly extremes is delusional.
IMO, they are both gorgeous as fuck, and with the iconic streetscapes of both Park Ave and Madison Ave they will look amazing (even more).
Spires count my man. But yeah, they’re pretty similar in height. So massive both of them.
I wonder if there will be any more proposals on the ave taller than this? (Not already announced) I think it’s likely
It’s hard to say if others will be taller. A few maybe but definitely not a lot.
Out of the 22 lots lining the Ave that are a part of the rezoning, 5 of them (the buildings occupying them) are landmarked (WA, St Bartholomew, Lever, Seagram, T/R Club), 2 of them have already been developed (432 & 425), and 3 are in development/planned (This one, 270, and the lot 405-415 are on). Of the 12 left, I’d say about 8 of them have a chance of being developed, and the other 4 are questionable (due to age, or recent updates).
All that being said some of the lots are full lots, so like 270, there will be more priority in floor area than height.
