I’ve always hated the parking lot on 34th Street and hope that this tower will be built upon it. If so, it will be a nice addition. Sadly, however, the existing Synagogue is a beautiful little building. It will suck D… Cheney to lose it.

Yeah I was trying to make sense of that render too, but I can’t. The gold/orange corner entrance looks like its in the middle of block and the building doesn’t look wide enough to stretch all the way to the corner of 9th ave.
I can’t believe it would be built on the assumption that the parking lot will always be there, but there sure are a lot of lot line windows!

I really hope that this is built on the light to the west of the synagogue. I suspect that it must be because the synagogue itself is a pretty small building.
