I must admit I had to take a second glance there as it looks 100% real! Great work, it looks gorgeous I love the Horizontal lines towards the top to give it a more define finished for the crown 
Great work as always, Otie! I’m with you on the spires: could take them or leave them, and won’t be heartbroken to learn they’re gone for good. I liked them when considering the building on its own, and especially when the cross-bracing was much more elaborate, but taken with the complex as a whole I think they may have actually been too incongruous and distracting.
As your new render above shows, this is going to be one hell of a sturdy, muscular, dignified looking building without the spires. In that regard, I would almost say that (the simplified) 3 & 4 WTC pay better homage to the original Twins than towers 1 & 2 do.
