Hmm, you’re missing 80 South Street. Or is that too far off the scope of this image.

Is there no concrete core?

No, it’s right over tracks going into Grand Central. They can’t build a concrete core.

Too far off, and I don’t know if that building is even a proposal anymore or just a vision.

Right now it’s nothing. The site has been acquired from oceanwide holdings and we’ll have to see where the new developers take it, but it can be built of right and has all of the air rights it needs for a 1,400+ supertall. Which means it will eventually be built because that kind of deal doesn’t come around often.

There will be concrete eventually, like the slabs, but not this early

Great photo.

You can really see how it steps out on the north and south facades.

Incredible engineering.

At this rate and barring any unforeseen delays it should definitely make an impact on the skyline by the end of 2022. Exciting to watch this behemoth rise.

Foster hit a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the ninth. I can’t believe that the same guy who created this icon also designed the absolute dud, 50 HY.

The 50 HY is really ugly, but I believe Foster just designed what the customers wanted.

We always talk about individual designers, but never take into account that the studio is 1500 people large and perhaps the only thing Foster has contributed in is by shaking hands with JP Morgan’s CEOs.
It is curious :rofl::rofl::rofl:

^ Do we? When I read “Foster” I think of the company, not the man.
