To be fair, I think it looks worse because they haven’t installed cladding on the beams around it.

Edit: when you also consider there will likely be somewhat tall trees in front of the stone, then I don’t think it’ll have as strange of a look as what we’re currently seeing suggests.

I’m getting a Fred Flintstone vibe.

it will look good when you see less of it.

C’mon…you mean to tell me there isn’t a hot tub up there or something?!

Well… we tried to go to the bar inside the water tank - but there was a wedding going on - somehow, nobody stopped us until we got there - at least I got 5 min to take the pics

Same views from the William Vale bar and it’s mostly indoors thank god, unless you plan on skating on the plastic roof rink.

The first image (top left) I can see some actual cladding at the base where the diagonal steel meets.

That is correct :+1: They’ve also put a portion of the cladding that covers the overhangs above the south entrance.

They’ve already built up the shallow ramp leading up to the Park Ave entrance

There are “spaces” behind the stone panels, it’s quite possible this is where the thicker/larger foliage will be put that isn’t moss (or whatever looks like moss on the single render) It looks sporadically placed so it makes sense that that would be why they are there. Also nice to see them finally building out the bottom portion of the trim/frame support.

Looks like there’s some cladding in the second image for the canopy over the doorways, too.
