True. The noise-to-signal ratio on many of these threads are a problem. There is an easy fix: delete any post that does not make some material contribution to the ‘informational commons’ that is the YIMBY forums.

If you post and say nothing; that is simply ‘bumping’ the topic - that is trolling.

Posting nonsensical comments is simply irresponsible; but to be expected on a public access forum.:thinking:

Very good insight - I have seen the patturn too. He first began posting as LondonLawyer on WiredNY forums. His posting style is easy to recognize when you know what to look for in the phrasing and general attitude. This is all speculation, but I do suspect you are correct.
