Looks like they finally cleaned or replaced this cam. For a while it had a lot of stuff on the lens from either condensation or the elements.

At least it’s making more progress than 45 Park Place

But 45 looks more complete to me.

Good question. I have (an we have) been following this and many other new construction projects in NYC: so this question is a natural.

I follow this podcast for answers on this type of question regarding construction budgets, and Completion Time lines. Get Reddy to Geek out….enjoy. this is a highly informative talk on ConTEC.

Procore - The Power of Construction. Here is a good podcast from Procore addressing the future state of construction: particularly as applied to Construction Technology, BIM, and AI advancements in the AEC industry.

But for slow progress on the aluminum foil part, I still can’t discern any visible progress on the crown.

Why so many New Yorkers hate this skyscraper is a good question.

Great Video - Thanks.

This video offers a highly critical view of what I consider to be an Architectural marvel. The case for sight lines, and the ‘affordable housing’ crisis are two of the main grievances in this video.

I am still a fan; but opinions will vary - so it’s best to agree to disagree on the merits of 242 5th Avenue.
