Oh of course! Sorry, my intention was not to undermine his importance, rather suggesting that he is a tough act to follow Anyone expecting to undermine the status quo the way he did is going to need one hell of a shovel.
Why does it already look dated…
Because it was designed by Russians
Umph tbh I thought it was purposely built to be an eyesore in front of the ESB as a nice little dig to America. A taunting 800 foot tall spite house. From Russia, with “love.”
Thank you for linking that article. Such a good read
The unwanted stepsister.
This one is still going relatively slow even though there is an increasingly large amount of panels waiting at the base. You can now see where the building stops being mirrored above the blow through space due to the nature of the layout of the duplexes above this point. The windows on the south side are double height where as the the windows on the southern side are single story.
You can also see theyve installed a great deal of the clips for the rainscreen on the north side of the core, so we should start seeing that cladding going up soon.
Also, nvm, I got the grid function to work again
Any specific reason why this is moving so slow?
My strong guess is cash flow.
It’s visible in Springboss’ photo since it’s from last week as are these, they started to put up the scaffolding inside the crown opening again, probably to prepare for cladding the crown. Facade installation seems to be going up at a normal pace for now anyways. The crinkled foil part is what is significantly lagging behind now.
The more I look at the mechanical floors, the more I can’t help but see them as giant AC units It’d look nicer as a set of solid horizontal lines or some other attempt that doesn’t make them look so obvious IMO
