I live in the neighborhood and walk by this site every day. This new tower, plus the garage redevelopment across 8th Avenue and the new Whole Foods mini-market on 50th and 8th will go a long way to elevating this area.

Signs are up for this tower on the construction hoarding. Completion is expected in 2027. There was also an excavator parked out front on the street.

There has been an initial concrete pour at the site and recently they’ve had a mobile crane delivering large sections of rebar.
