This page indeed looks to be the one that became passcode protected in 2022. The site was redesigned recently so who knows how it’s now - i just hope that it’s no longer 381m as mentioned in this page…
Ah see, but you’re still basing your view(s) on that premise, don’t. Both views show a completely different height for the tower, regardless of the perspective, one is clearly taller than 1WTC’s roof and the other clearly shorter. As well as the other renders that one could use for height reference, which is again a don’t do.
It’s very abnormal for marketing measurements to just call out an arbitrary part of the building, so I dont imagine that it’s a lower roof (as that would be arbitrary/insignificant). Zoning permits can call out the height of the highest occupiable floor, which may be what is happening here, but it’s not unbelievable that the architectural height of this tower would be 1251’ relative to 1 WTC’s 1368’ because 2 WTC is on much higher ground. Though not enough to significantly close the gap between the 117’ difference, but enough that it would still follow the stair stepping down to 5 WTC.
Especially in Manhattan, which isn’t flat at all topographically, one should never use adjacency or relativity to nearby buildings to calculate height assumptions, unless the building’s are right up against eachother.
Elevator supplier is OTIS.
The system mentioned in the page:
It looks like they’re screenshots of the VisualHouse 3D model tracked onto a drone video, which explains why the height fluctuates so much between the two which can happen if the 3D tracking is not perfect. In the high-res version of the first image, you can see 2WTC leans slightly to the right!
Also, they say it’s 90 floors, but the scheme onsite, besides renders and the floor directories they posted (where they bump up the count between floor banks) reaffirm it’s just 73 physical floors, excluding the crown.
Perhaps it’s better to put that at the title.
Are you saying it’s better to put the actual floor count or the marketing floor count?
I honestly don’t even know what the standard is in the title names here. I think it’s a mix of both, let alone the fact that for multiple buildings there’s always many different sources that say many different numbers.
With it being this long to build I gave up on the height being close to One WTC. I wanted both towers to reach the old twins’ heights. I will settle for bulky. Just fill the skyline.
I personally think the physical should be used.
Afaik One WTC’s title had (at one point apparently?) 96 floors and not 105.
Let’s hope with the 24st anniversary of 9/11 we know more than we know now…It’s simply insane that it needs to take a quarter of a century to restore something that is already financed! Plus, it’s a disgrace for the city and site there’s still a so called unhealed wound present.
Just build the diamond version and be done with it… ![]()
If the large models at Silverstein’s showroom are anything to go by, the most recent depiction of this design we’ve seen is definitely taller than 1251’ when compared to the previous model depicting Ingels’ ~1260’ design:

I think it’s a solid 1300 footer and they had something off in the site.
I did the math, based on the RSF they’ve put up for each floor bank, and taking 30k as a rough average for the penthouse floors (82-90), and it adds up to 2.8m RSF, so it’s probably 3m gross sqf.
One of the exact reasons why I believe the roof floor is at 1,251 feet. But we sill see…I’m trying to be patient but this is a tower that was revealed way back in 2006. If I had a little green Jedi Master with me I’d have more patience
Beating a dead horse here but I just have to say it - once again this entire mess of a rebuilding effort proves we should have done what most of us New Yorkers (and many family members) wanted from the start - rebuilt Twin Towers - stronger and better than before. Instead we got part of our identity ripped away from us and replaced with this mess of value engineered to death buildings / a complex that is still incomplete almost 24 years later. The fact that 1 WTC couldn’t even be built as intended is the worst of it all - well I shouldn’t say couldn’t. They could have but they cheaped out like rat bastards at the very end. What a sin. The only thing well done without compromising the result was the memorial and museum which is beautifully done and maintained - thank god.
This is a very good point since the models are too scale with each other. The floor elevation diagram is true to scale with the same 1348’ height of the 3d physical marketing model, which itself is accurate to the 18.5’ and 14’ floor heights.
What makes the 1348’ height even more accurate is that there is no topography on the physical campus model in 3 WTC, which relative to 1WTC’s height, appears that slight 20’ shorter, which in reality would more or less align with 1 WTC’s roof because of 2 WTC’s higher AMSL elevation.
So for the moment, I still believe this is 1348’, unless explicitly called out elsewhere besides the figures on the website, which as @ThreeWentDown mentioned, believes the website to be an old WIP version of the actual page that is accessible to potential clients.
@TK2000 the 1251’ does not seem to align to anything relative to either the floor stacking diagram nor the 3d physical model, it just lands in the mid height of the 2 lower roofs before the lantern/crown volume (which is several feet above the last mech portion on the floor stacking diagram and several feet below the left hand lower roof on the model.) So at the moment, it has no correlation to anything.
It’s neat how perfectly the two-point perspective Radii model photo matches the floor stacking layout!
VisualHouse’s Novaverse website’s been updated to include a demo video, with a lot of 2WTC eye-candy:

This is like the GTA VI leak but of 2 World Trade Center. Fantastic!!
WOW! Impressive video! It’s amazing how far technology has gotten since the days of playing something like FF7 and being blown away by the cinematics! I await the day I can sightsee in huge cities worldwide with this sort of detail on something like an Oculus or Vision Pro!
Do we have any news on the potential AMEX deal?
