NEW YORK | 200 East 83rd Street | 489 FT | 36 FLOORS

Our poor dog was walking along during a rain storm when a bolt of lightning hit a rod on our roof, then bounced down to hit her. She was never the same.

You can fit another Stern in the middle.

Is the entire facade of the tower limestone? The entire length of it actually looks like it’s weathering like limestone.

This is another classic beauty beauty by RAMSA. I always prefer GOOD modernist architecture over classical; but do find that classical architecture never disappoints - but modernist architecture is more hit-or-miss.

According this this research study, my preference, is not what the ‘general public’ prefers. I do agree with the findings of this study; as I see the same response everywhere to these RAMsA masterpieces.

Beautiful stone work on the facade. Glad I found this photo posted way back in the early stages of construction. I did not know this facade is composed of prefabricated panels. Look like old world craft work - well done.

Pre-war Architectural Design; post-war construction methods - nice.

Thanks to the YIMBY forum members for posting these progress photos: I just grabbed this photo from one of the early stages of construction. :innocent:
