What does the 1,414 ft mean? Is that an older figure or a new figure? Because I thought 1,226 was the latest.
I’m assuming maximum height of the crane(s)
Ahh makes sense - I thought structure was referring to the building but crane makes sense ty
Thank you so much. We greatly appreciate you and speedy1979
@Jackson0427 is correct, those filings are just for the cranes, none of the information in them pertains to the building itself. All figures only relate to the cranes.
This filling might (?) be for a specific crane, so while it goes down Feb28, another crane might operate for longer, with topping out possibly deeper into 2028.
I wonder how many cranes it’ll have ultimately.
Looks like the fence enclosure is making its way around. Any thoughts on whether it’ll progress farther west to capture the transit entrance as well? I assume they’ll have to upgrade it to integrate it into the tower’s design.
Look above, US Cranes confirmed the amount of cranes and the models
270 Park topped out in 3 years from street level. And I assume it’s a much more girthy and complicated building. Dont know why it would take 3 years to do interior work
Great shots! But simultaneously I hope your phone camera has a 0.6 or 0.5 zoom for an extreme wide angle shot
Actually my phone does have have 0.6 zoom; but I have to step the resolution down from 50M to 12M.
How much of the existing air ventilation / plumbing / mechanical infrastructure that we can see will be removed in order for construction to go vertical? I’m confused how they will work with the existing site
The parts I marked with red are approximately where the core off the tower is and the blue circles represent the perimeter columns that I can see; some of them are still not visible but they are all present.
My phone
Given how some of the vents cross over the core, they’ll likely be relocated sequentially in the next few months before vertical construction begins. The vents serve the Oculus and VSC below, I believe, so they need to remain operational.
