Comparison of masses:
The tower came surprisingly slightly bigger than expected, but the calculations seem to line up.
Should they reinstate the spires of 3WTC, and set up an array of light-beam-spires along Tower 2, reaching up to 1340ft, the result will be striking:
Foster has done this before (and considered something similar for the Deutsche Bank version’s crown)

There were various attempts on lighting over the years, such as this (2022 marketing video) to gradually light up the fins as they rise.
That too is nicer than the final concept

In the first pic, why are 130 William, 1LP and Home Insurance highlit? Are 111 Washington and 5 WTC there or being hidden from those POV’s?
Could be highlighting more recent developments (HIP is being reskinned) but judging by 1 Liberty Plaza I’m assuming they just haven’t gotten around to detailing every single building yet. I do a similar thing on MC where I start with matte massing models and then sculpt the building out when I’m free/motivated

Great update! If I’m not mistaken, all those vents are active and servicing the Oculus. Anyone know how the project team’s gonna work around this?
