Well say goodbye to the plane on the roof, and probably the rest of the cool features of the arcade space and plaza. I’m assuming they’re going to absolutely fuck up the cladding too like they did with 111 Wall St. Of course they had to diddle the most interesting building from this area

It was a really neat building back when it opened. Walston & Co was the first tenant. You would never get away with young women in short shorts running the elevators today.
we could probably do a general thread for downtown slop boxes being converted or reskinned.
these are just the ones I know of that are done or in progress, and there’s probably plenty more to come
